Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 (Accredited)

The course addresses the common fear and uncertainty that causes people to freeze during an emergency, replacing it with a structured, confident approach.  The course is not only designed for workplaces; it can also be applied in any situation.

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is a legal requirement for many organisations. This course covers life saving techniques including the recovery position, cardiac arrests, heart attacks, CPR, and bleeding.

Certificates are valid for 3 years.

What you will learn:

  • Roles and responsibilities of a First Aider
  • Assessing an incident
  • Managing an unresponsive casualty
  • CPR and use of AED (Defibrillator)
  • Recovery Position
  • Common First Aid concerns such as choking, shock, wounds/bleeding, minor injuries, cuts/grazes, and minor burns/scalds

Most of our training courses carry a fee. However, Hull CVS offers discounted rates for its Voluntary and Community Social Enterprise (VCSE) members, and for block bookings.
