Working4Good
Supporting Young People on their Road to Employment
In 2024, Hull CVS set up Working4Good; a new scheme intended to support young people in to work experience and volunteering opportunities and help improve their future employment prospects. Consisting of three core elements, Working4Good provided:
- Facilitated support between schools, local business and young people to access meaningful work experience opportunities.
- A Volunteer Academy offering free one day training on the fundamental knowledge everyone requires when working in a formal working environment.
- A Volunteer to Employment pathway, tailored around specific interests to help gain volunteering experience in a future desired career.
This service is now on hold due to funding coming to an end. We hope to restart this service again soon when new funding is identified.
