Safeguarding for Trustees

Safeguarding for Trustees is a new training session exploring understanding and considerations toward safeguarding from the perspective of a Trustee.

Trustees have long since had some responsibility for safeguarding within the organisation they support, but more recently these responsibilities have been more accurately detailed in legislation such as ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023’ and outlined through the NSPCC as well as the Charity Commission.

Legal Responsibilities and best practice as a Trustee
What to do should you have a safeguarding concern within the organisation you support

Most of our training courses carry a fee. However, Hull CVS offers discounted rates for its Voluntary and Community Social Enterprise (VCSE) members, and for block bookings.
