VCSE Assembly
As part of the Sector Connect service we deliver in partnership with Forum CIO, we co-deliver the monthly VCSE Assembly.
The Hull VCSE Assembly is a fully resourced, mechanism in place to bring together the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Hull.
The aim of the VCSE Assembly is to bring VCSE organisations and statutory sector partners together at a local level, to work toward shared goals and priorities and to identify opportunities to improve outcomes for communities and residents.
The Assembly supports the development of strong partnerships within the VCSE sector and with public sector partners, and provides the forum to be able to continually grow and develop the local VCSE in response to identified needs.
The Assembly brings to the sector a range of opportunities for VCSE organisations to be involved in, including service delivery opportunities and access untapped resource and guidance available to the sector. The Assembly also meets the need for voluntary sector networking, peer support and information sharing.
Operating on the principles of inclusivity and collaboration, the Assembly is open to every VCSE organisation in the city, reflecting the diversity of the sector in terms of size, themes and geographic areas of delivery.
The VCSE Assembly alternates each month, from Information, capacity building and networking focus; to a thematic focus that deep dives in to a specific area of delivery. For future dates and how to book on, please visit Hull VCSE Assembly - Forum
